I pretty much agree with Greg, "Mad Men" and "Dexter" were great, but I enjoyed "Lost" more (GET BACK IN THE HOUSE, BANG, GET BACK, BANG LOL, ok that was a lil ridiculous). Yea, I don't really know about Damages, I would give it to those 3 shows before Damages.

Also, If its not Jon Hamm, I hope Michael C. Hall gets it.

I have no problem with Lost and Alec Baldwin winning their respected categories. They are both in very strong company.

1) gotta go "Lost" on best drama series. i caught most of "Mad Men," all of "Dexter," some of "House" and "Damages," and i've read about the others...and "Lost" really had one of the strongest seasons this year, and one of the most affected, positively, by the writer's strike. i would also say "Dexter" is high up there too; while i didn't like the season finale, it was one of the most cohesive and better plotted SEASONS i've seen on TV in a long time. "Mad Men" has got a great future ahead of it too.

2) the problem with Carrell winning this year is that it would really be for 3 seasons of playing that character already (see Denzel winning for "Training Day" when it was really just the time for a black man to win Best Actor again, politics speaking). this season, he became one of the more annoying speed bumps in a problem-filled and spotty decline of "The Office," one that only improved marginally when they came back from the writer's strike and ended with an excellent season finale. gotta go Alec for "30 Rock." he was priceless.
